Parent Teacher Conferences are just around the corner. PTC's provide you the opportunity to gain insight into the strengths and areas of growth for your child. Be sure to set time aside time on Thursday the 17th from 4-8 PM or Friday the 18th from 8 AM - 12 PM.
Elementary parents: Conference scheduling will follow the same process as years prior. Your child should have come home with a form indicating your prefered conference date. Please get that back to the school ASAP as we will be scheduling elementary conferences on Wednesday morning.
Middle School parents: Please use the link below to schedule your parent teacher conference time. You only need to schedule one time block. The middle school team will meet with you as a group in Mrs. Barta's room to discuss your child's progress.

Due to the threat of the Elk Fire near Dayton, the Homecoming football game against Tongue River which is scheduled for Friday night (10/4), has been postponed at this time. We do not have any details on a possible rescheduled date. Our thoughts and prayers are with the community affected by these fires in Sheridan County.

Due to the sustained dry weather and heat, we will be unable to have our homecoming bonfire following coronation. Coronation will start at 7:30, hope to see you there!
State golf begins today at 10:00 AM in Sheridan at the Kendrick Golf Club.

Upton Ag Mechanics students have been busy this year, tackling hands-on projects like mower maintenance, rebuilding a dirt bike engine, and even constructing a go-kart!
Congratulations to Mrs. Woolsey and the 2023/2024 4th grade class! They were nominated for an award for their work researching and presenting on Native American Tribes. Today at the Wyoming Historical Society Luncheon they received 3rd place!!
Bobcat Adventures will begin Monday, September 9th from 4:00-6:00!

School pictures for Upton schools will be on September 11th! At the high school, picture packets are available for pickup in the office.
There will be Middle School Football Practice tomorrow Friday, August 23 at 6 AM. Please meet at the Elementary/Middle School at 5:45 am to get dressed. Also, we hold our parent meeting on Monday, August 26th in the Elementary/Middle School auditorium at 6:00 PM.
Community night tonight! If you are a parent, student, or interested in learning how you can support our school, feel free to join us at 6:00 tonight at the high school! We will talk about how we operate and the different opportunities available to students. We will also discuss ways to support students from whatever community role that may be. FFA will also be supplying some baked goods for your enjoyment.

We would like to invite community members to a Community Night on Tuesday the 20th at 6:00 PM at Upton High School. Parents, teachers, students, business owners, and other stakeholders are invited to participate in supporting student success. We are hoping to open dialogue about different ways the community and school can work together to create more opportunities for students and to develop students' essential transferable skills.
The night will begin by discussing the opportunities students currently have, how the community can help, and open the door for new ideas and opportunities. FFA will be providing baked goods and all are welcome to attend!
