Upton student council is howting a communit blood drive from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the high school! All are welcome to participate!

New school record! On a wet and cold day, Whitney Barritt broke the school pole vault record with a vault of 10'0"! She had previously tied the record but now stands as the only Upton female to break the 10 foot mark. Congratulations Whitney Barritt!

The preschoolers are studying bread right now so they have partnered with the high school FACs program who brought them in to make biscuits from scratch.

Upton Robotics Earns Third Place at State Competition The Upton Robotics team of Ryder Hamilton and Brendan Sanderson delivered an impressive performance at the Wyoming State Robotics Competition held at Thunder Basin High School in Gillette, Wyoming. Competing against top teams from across the state, Upton Robotics worked through a challenging day of matches to secure an outstanding third-place finish. Throughout the competition, the team demonstrated strong engineering skills, strategic driving, and excellent teamwork. Their robot consistently performed well during the rounds, pushing through tough matchups and adapting their strategy to stay competitive against some of Wyoming’s best robotics programs. The event brought together robotics teams from schools across the state to compete, collaborate, and celebrate innovation in engineering and technology. Hosted at Thunder Basin High School, the competition showcased months of preparation, problem-solving, and dedication from students and coaches alike. Earning third place at the state level is a significant accomplishment for the Upton team and highlights the students’ hard work throughout the season. Their performance reflects not only technical skill but also perseverance and collaboration under pressure. The team, coaches, and supporters are proud of the achievement and the experience gained from competing on the state stage. Upton Robotics continues to build momentum and looks forward to future competitions and continued success

UHS boys basketball team will play at 12:00 today against Niobrara County. The game will be played at Casper College and live streamed through the NFHS network. Good luck Bobcats!

Our boys' basketball team heads off to state Thursday to take on Saratoga at the Wyoming Ford Center in Casper. That game will take place at 1:30 PM, but there will be a send off for the boys at 8:30 before they leave. Feel free to swing by and wish the team well!
