
Today's, January 13th, high school basketball games have been postponed! Make up date to be determined.

Due to forecasted temperatures and wind chills early in the morning, Upton Schools will have a late start at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 15, 2024. Busses will run accordingly and breakfast will not be served. Also, the preschool in Upton will be closed on Monday. Stay safe and stay warm!

FBLA Members of the Month

The FBLA December Students of the Month are Reece Riehmann, Karstyn Garcia, Kelly Cork, Holly Trandahl and Jilly Jean Jackson. Not pictured: Erin Bears. These students worked the concession stand at the Bobcat Invitational and came to the monthly meeting.

Gear-up & EWC will be hosting a financial aid night at Upton High School for all seniors and their parents/guardians on Monday, January 15 from 600-730 pm. Dinner will be provided! Please contact Mrs.Knapp at the high school with any questions.

The Lady Cat Wrestlers competed in Hot Springs on Friday night. Caden Simianer came away with the championship in the 114 bracket. She also won the award for most pins in the shortest time.

Historic night for the Lady Cats who unveiled the first ever girls' basketball state championship banner! They capped off the night then with a buzzer beater victory from Bella Keller after a big time steal from Sophie Louderback! The Lady Cats start the year off 3-0!


An update from the weekend's activities:
In wrestling, Trey Schneider was 1st at the Lusk Invite. Jackson East, Cullen Davis, and Brie Dollick all placed 2nd. Landon Norman took 3rd. And finally, Cayden Vrana and Caden Simianer placed 5th. As a team, the boys came in 4th and the girls were 5th.

Tim Boumeester, a member of the highway patrol, visited Upton FBLA to donate a check for the backpack program. Karstyn Garcia, Kate Neubauer and Holly Trandahl were the leaders for this program.
